DAVIAN'S BABY BOOK.......
Here we go again, trying to figure out what to write about for my blog, myself as a writer. I keep telling myself this is one blog closer to the end! Lol, I am not sure how many of you run in to this same problem. My older son and I were going through his baby book for the millionth time on Sunday. He enjoyed reading all the things I wrote him when I was pregnant. In the back of his baby book I glued a sheet of paper making a folder in the back, where I would write him letters. On letter I wrote was the day I found out he was going to be a boy! I was so excited to know I was going to have a boy, I expected a girl since all of my siblings have a girl as their first born. In this letter I also informed him, that when I made it home I received a horrible phone call from Mexico; my grandfather had just passed away. I was very upset to hear this terrible news. I guess this is why I wrote the letter, to express my feelings. In this letter I wrote to him how he was a very caring and loving grandfather! And that one day I would tell him all about him. He loves to hear the stories about me growing up and visiting them twice a year; he loves to see grandpa’s pictures and videos. I guess that is why I care so deeply about family, I learned from the best. Even though we came from so far twice a year they never treated us any different from the other grandchildren. He lived up in the mountain and all you heard and felt was Mother Nature. My son Davian loves to go through his baby book and read what his name was going to be and go over the family tree. I would have to say thank you to whoever invented the baby book. This is such a wonderful way to keep very important information fun and simple.
